Aside from balancing life as a wife and mom, I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family, creating lasting memories. I was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, but raised in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. I absolutely love origin stories—there’s something so exciting about hearing how something came to be! I’m a girls’ girl and have always loved pouring into other women—and people in general. I guess I’m just a people person!

 

I have to tell you, something radical happens when you fully submit yourself to God. Picture this: You’re driving to a destination you have in mind, but the ride is bumpy, the view is dull, and you need a restroom—but there’s no exit ahead. Frustrated, you decide to pull over and let God take the wheel.

 

Nothing has changed circumstantially—you’re still in the same car—but somehow, the road doesn’t feel as bumpy. What once looked like a stretch of endless trees is now beautified with majestic mountains and flowing rivers. Then, you glance up and see a sign: Rest stop ahead at mile marker 8! And that destination you had in mind? Suddenly, you realize that where the Lord is taking you is better than anything you planned.

 

It is my desire, ladies; that we all become passengers—letting God drive us to our divine destination!
